Your fishing license is your responsibility and can be purchased at several local stores in the area or online at Arkansas Game & Fish. Remember, your trout tag is good for one year from date of purchase. Your fishing license is good only for the amount of days you purchase.

We will have plenty of cold water on board but you are responsible for your own soft drinks or other beverages. The weather can change quickly so always be prepared for rain, cool fronts, and hot sun.

Daily trips start between 7:30 and 8:00 unless we make other arrangements. We break for shore lunch at 11:30 to start cooking. Lunch consists of Fried Trout fillets caught that morning, fried potatoes with onions, hot beans with mushrooms, peppers, onions, and a little meat, salad with dressing, bread, cookies & fruit cocktail. We close the day at 3:30 PM so you have plenty of time to enjoy some sightseeing or just relax for the next day.

TURKEY HUNTING

Arkansas Turkey season comes in the first part of April each year and there is a good population of Turkeys around Norfork Lake. We hunt from the boat allowing us the opportunity to travel quite some distance to find a "hot prospect". When we locate one we park the boat at the bank and go after Mr. Longbeard! It is an exciting hunt and the Ozark scenery is outstanding. Sometimes when you are waiting for the turkeys to gobble it's hard not to pick up your fishing pole and try your luck!!

COST..........$225 PER DAY Quit at 1:00 PM. Missouri hunts include brunch and dinner, soft drinks as well as sleeping accomodations.

BUFFALO RIVER SMALLMOUTH

For the avid and experienced fisherman you will like this!!  24 miles of the Buffalo River between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. Exclusively fishing for Smallmouth Bass. We leave Norfork at 6 a.m., put in at 7 a.m. and cover the 24 miles by approximately 3 p.m., then motor the remaining 12 miles of the White River to return to Norfork. The fishing is usually great and the scenery is some of the finest Ozark Mountain beauty you will ever see. A challenging trip indeed but by the end of the day you will have memories to last a lifetime.
              
We float 20' river "jons" just like we use on the White River so comfort and safety are guaranteed. Bring plenty of film for your camera and always come prepared when it pertains to weather and your clothing.

The months of April and May are the best opportunity to enjoy this fantastic trip. In June the water level in the Buffalo gets so low it becomes very difficult to navigate the river. So, if this type of trip interests you........book the trip as soon as possible to guarantee your desired date.

COST..........$235 PER DAY for Two People. (includes shuttle service, rods, reels, baits, sandwich lunch and water) Bring your own soft drinks or alcoholic beverage.
